There are a number of organisations that are used to the concept of Chaplaincy. The Armed Services and the NHS have had chaplains for years. However, as we consider the number of businesses, shops and organisations in our country they are the exception rather than the rule!

 At ChAt we offer our chaplains to organisations and individuals in the Town Centre.

ChAt serves a developing number of organisations in Weston-super-Mare offering our Listening and Signposting Services to all members of staff, service users, customers and visitors. The details of these Chaplaincies can be seen below. Members of the ChAt team visit these organisations on a regular basis and offer our confidential listening and signposting service to whoever would like our help. Although we are established and motivated by our faith, in keeping with our main objectives we offer our services objectively and we are non-judgemental. The service is available to those in need of it regardless of their faith (or none), health, gender, lifestyle, sexuality. The service we offer is free of charge.

Needless to say, all our Chaplaincies are established with the permission of the Management of each organisation and are operated according to our own guidelines on setting up Chaplaincies within organisations, a copy of these guidelines may be seen by clicking here.
